Events Privacy Policy

Platform.sh (operated by Platform.sh SAS, a French company located at 22 rue de Palestro, Paris, 75002 France) has prepared this Events Privacy Policy (“Events Privacy Policy”) to describe our privacy practices regarding the information collected by us, from visitors, participants, and registrants to our own self-hosted events and conferences, as well as events and conferences hosted by our partners and other third parties (collectively, “Events”). This Events Privacy Policy operates in addition to our Privacy Policy located at https://platform.sh/trust-center/privacy/privacy-policy/. 

By submitting your personal information through participation in the Events, you expressly acknowledge that your personal information may be stored and processed by Platform.sh.

(1) Information we collect from you

We may collect the following information from you during your registration for Events:

• First and last name;
• Email;
• Address;
• Job title;
• Organization name;
• Preferred pronouns; and
• Dietary restrictions or other accommodations

You will be asked to provide your explicit consent if you disclose sensitive personal information in the form of dietary or disability requests.

(2) How we use your information

We use our Events registration process to collect personal information that you directly input into our registration forms, as well as on any other website we set up as an event organizer. This data is collected by us and we process it during performance of a contract with you (your event registration) as well as in our legitimate interests for the following purposes:

• Manage our Events attendees and make sure their needs are met;
• Contact you about our Events and other products or Services provided by us;
• Run giveaways during our Events;
• Gather statistics about our Events; and
• Improve our future Events and Services.

By completing the registration form you represent and warrant that you are the person making the registration or have the express authority and consent from that person to make the registration on their behalf. 

(3) How we will share this information

We will disclose your personal information for the purposes listed herein, and in accordance with our Privacy Policy located at https://platform.sh/trust-center/privacy/privacy-policy/#6-disclosing-your-personal-info. We will take appropriate steps to ensure that your personal information is processed, secured, and transferred according to applicable data protection laws, including having the appropriate DPA and SCCs in place with third parties.

• Co-sponsored activities: When you sign up for a conference, event, webinar, or other activity that is co-sponsored by another company, we may share your registration information with that company. 
• Integration Partners: We may receive personal data about users from companies ("Integration Partners") that grant access to our Services by way of a co-branded or private-labeled website, and technical integrations. Integration Partners may supply us with users' personal data, such as name and e-mail, and mailing address information, in order to help us establish an account or fulfill orders.
• Third-party events: External third parties or partners may run promotions or giveaways for select Platform.sh customers, and we may share your registration information with those companies.
