WCAG compliance

Platform.sh has made a commitment to providing an accessible experience. Part of that commitment is meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Overview

The WCAG is developed with the goal of providing a single shared standard for web content accessibility that meets the needs of individuals, organizations, and governments internationally. The WCAG documents explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

As a service provider, Platform.sh strives to not only offer a service that provides value and is enjoyable to use, but is also usable by all, including those with disabilities. We make an ongoing commitment to ensure our web interfaces are inclusive and accessible to these individuals.

We commit wherever possible that we will:

  • Make all meaningful parts of the interface accessible by keyboard
  • Provide meaningful labels for all form elements
  • Use a meaningful page structure with descriptive element tags and attributes
  • Provide ongoing improvements to reach WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines

We make the above commitments for the following page domains:

  • platform.sh
  • console.platform.sh
  • docs.platform.sh

Statement

Our product’s main user control interface, for use by customers & developers, is currently WCAG 2.1 AA compliant. As part of our internal roadmap processes, we prioritize continuing maintenance of accessibility compliance (through this published statement, and in general, through our support processes). We solicit user feedback on improvements or feature requests relating to accessibility, which also has a place in our internal prioritization process, although we do not publish an external roadmap.

Standards

We provide an experience for users that conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Support and feedback

If you encounter problems with portions of our web domains that are not accessible for those with visual impairments, please contact our customer support team. We also welcome any feedback on how we can improve the accessibility of our products to ensure that all of our customers have a good experience regardless of their abilities.
